Digital Work Opportunity Center
Because of a liberal award from The Community Foundation of SW Washington, Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region has built up a Digital Work Opportunity Center (DWOC) in light of the COVID-19 emergency.
Goodwill Connect furnishes job searchers with access to
Goodwill's free employment training courses and profession pathway services
through a web-based learning platform, giving a safe, no-contact option to an
in-person job training.
PC Technician A+
A new 18-week course that trains individuals for occupations
in the IT field. Disciplines covered incorporate networking and IT security, PC
operating system functionality and investigating, performing safety
methodology, and PC workstation installation and maintenance and programming.
The course trains students for the Comp TIA A+ certification.

Upon completion of the test, students will be qualified for
a variety of positions with beginning pay rates up to $80,000 per year.

(Note: The IT Fundamentals and PC Technician programs are
offered because of an award from Boeing got through Goodwill's Military and
Veteran Services program and, while open to any candidate, military veterans,
