Franklin Apprenticeships, a Maryland-based national apprenticeship delivery master company, this week stamped National Apprenticeship Week with the development of new job principles to provide strong foundations to Industry-Recognized Apprenticeship Programs (IRAPs). Recently named a Standards Recognition Entity (SRE) by the U.S. Branch of Labor (DOL), Franklin is heading to build the number and expansiveness of apprenticeships accessible to industry, with the related job openings for people through the development of IRAPs. The first IRAPs being prepared for approval by the Franklin SRE are in the fields of Information Technology and Management of Businesses and Enterprises.
