This exciting new opportunity is a lead Server Engineer for the Oracle E-business Suite Upgrade Project – working closely with the ERP Systems Team and supporting third-party providers for effective delivery of this project. This is an exciting undertaking making a new environment onto a new technology platform, consolidating a new Reporting Suite using Microsoft Power BI alongside DR planning.

It is basic that candidates meet the following criteria:
  • BTEC/HNC in an IT/Computing discipline or identical experience
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a large Microsoft Server/Technology environment (Windows Server 2008R2 onwards with Active Directory)
  • Demonstrate experience of server virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix).
  • Show experience of working with Microsoft Server Applications (Microsoft Exchange, IIS)
  • Demonstrated experience of providing third line client care and tackling complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated experience to role-play as a major part of a team and to work under own drive as required
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex technical solutions for high priority issues on schedule and within the budget plan
  • To provide adaptable working hours/extra time/accessible on-call be as required.
  • Process UK driving permit, owing to the need to drive police vehicles conveying heavy gear, occasionally out of hours.
